I realized I haven't posted my weight loss results for April - sorry it's a little late! I had an awesome month - lost 8 pounds and 8 inches total all over my body. That means since I started Turbo Fire at the beginning of March, I have lost 16 inches and 18 pounds! That means I have lost 33 pounds this year, thanks to Turbo Fire and Weight Watchers. And that means I have lost a total of 69 pounds since I started losing weight in July 2010. 69 pounds! That is like a large dog!
I still have a ways to go, but I am so proud of myself for how far I have come! I am doing turbo 5 days a week - 3 days at home doing Turbo Fire DVD's & 2 days with Brynne at XSI in Lehi. She is the AWESOMEST INTENSEST instructor ever and she seriously kicks my trash every week within minutes of starting class. SO worth waking up at 6 AM. And I am not a morning person. AT. ALL.
The more time that passes and the more I lose and the more I change my life, the more I am so grateful for Brynne and the awesome influence, example and supporter she has been to me. I talk to her every single day about Turbo, how I ate, how I felt that day, etc. and we are starting to truly be best friends. Obviously, we have always been friends - we are sisters. But lately, I can't put into words how much it means to me that we are becoming so close. I am SO glad I introduced her to Turbo because she got me back into it when I reached my all time low of a high weight. I couldn't do this without her!!

And I am SO grateful for Jake and his support in all this, from buying new work out shoes {hopefully this week!} to letting me buy a gym pass so I can take class with Brynne, to buying new clothes because my clothes doesn't fit anymore, to eating healthy dinners with me, to constantly telling me how good I look. I can't tell you how much I love hearing from him how he can see that I am losing weight. I love hearing it from anyone but hearing it from my sexy husband is just the greatest thing ever.

The biggest thing that I keep thinking is how "easy" this is going to be to lose the rest of the weight I want to. I know what to do - I know what to eat, I know when to eat, I know how much to eat. I found my soul mate workout in Turbo and seriously burn calories and build muscle at the same time. All I have to do is keep doing what I am doing, continuing to push myself with working out, and the weight will keep falling off. It isn't rocket science. And I don't feel like I am depriving myself of food EVER. I ate chocolate and ice cream yesterday. We ate out the day before. I just make different choices than I would have before - I know to watch my portions. I can't express how different I feel now that I am taking care of my health. It makes everything seem so clear - like I can handle anything. Shoulda done this a long time ago!! I'll be posting again in 2 1/2 weeks so you can see my May pictures and the 90 day stats for Turbo Fire!
